What it is:
How it works:
Similar to using a cigarette, you puff on the cylinder (or cartridge) and nicotine vapour is released and absorbed through the lining of the mouth. The inhaler mimics the hand-to-mouth behaviour of smoking, which might help you overcome that part of your habit. The inhaler works best with people who need to control when they get a “hit” of nicotine.
You can pick up a nicotine inhaler at your local pharmacy. You don’t need a prescription to use a nicotine inhaler, but you should read the package carefully. If you are unsure about using it, talk to a Health Care Professional.
